Registered Nurse, RN Weekend On Call

Pay: $70,000 – $75,000 yearly, depending on experience

The Weekend On Call Registered Nurse is normally scheduled to work on weekends and/or “after hours” on weekdays. The On Call RN is responsible for the nursing care of patients according to the physician's orders, assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating total patient care and nursing care plans for each patient.

• Scheduled to make patient visits each week; may resolve some issues by phone but many after‑hours or weekend calls will require in‑person visits.
• Must be available for work‑related phone calls throughout scheduled after‑hours and/or weekend hours; calls should be answered unless the RN is assisting a patient or speaking with a patient/family.

• Registered Nurse licensed in the state of operation.
• Prior nursing experience required; experience in hospice or home health preferred.
• Sound knowledge of nursing principles, procedures, and patient/family teaching.
