Schedule:

Full‑time Night Shift (7p.m. – 7a.m.), alternating week‑ends.

• Accurately perform patient assessments and identify patient needs.
• Identify and initiate appropriate nursing interventions.
• Provide care appropriate to the patient’s condition and age.
• Perform timely and appropriate documentation related to medical necessity in the medical record.
• Complete and revise the Interdisciplinary Care Plan for each patient.
• Perform timely and accurate QI assessments.
• Float to various clinical areas where qualified and competent.

• Current VA or Compact RN license.
• At least one year of previous experience in Labor and Delivery, Nursery, Post‑Partum, or GYN Department – strongly preferred.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 30 days of hire.
• Neonatal Resuscitation Provider (NRP) certification within 6 months of hire.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification within 6 months of hire.
• Fetal Monitoring certification within 6 months of hire.
