Quality Supervisor

AQ Transformer Solutions Inc (Wytheville, VA) seeks Quality Supervisor. Drive the quality management in the local unit to achieve customer satisfaction and continued improvement. Manage the entire Quality Management System for the company and maintain documentation. Ensure Quality Management System is compliant with corporate, customer and international standards. Drive continuous improvement process. Support process owner with methodology and control corrective and improvement actions.

Manage the nonconformities in the corporate failure management system and drive the 8D methodology. Coordinate internal and external tasks and review the 8D reports. Collect, analyze and summarize information and trends including failed processes, stability studies, recalls, corrective actions, and revalidations. Support process owner in quality planning and follow up whether defined controls and gates are followed and meet the targets by audit methods.

Maintain and improve product quality by completing product, company, system, compliance, and surveillance audits. Collaborate with members of management to develop new product and engineering designs, and manufacturing and training methods. Support Sourcing in supplier development. Responsible to stop process, product, or service activities if quality or safety requirements are not met. Must have a Bachelor’s degree in Electronic Engineering.
