Substitute Teachers Needed

Xenia Community Schools is currently hiring substitute teachers for all grade levels, including preschool, elementary, middle, and high school. To be eligible to substitute for Xenia Community Schools, you must hold a Bachelor's Degree or higher (required — no exceptions) and complete the online employment application through the Dayton Area School Employment Consortium (if not already completed). Daily pay rates are $150.00 per day for substitute teaching license holders and $165.00 per day for current, active teaching license holders.

Next steps include contacting the Human Resources Department to schedule an appointment to complete onboarding paperwork and fingerprinting (BCII & FBI). Phone numbers are  (Jenni) or  (Kelly). Fingerprinting fees are $50.00 (cash or debit card) or $52.00 (credit card). If you already have a substitute license, please bring it to your appointment. If you do not have a license, one can be processed during your onboarding appointment (official transcripts are required).
