Special Education Assistant (1-On-1) - Cox Elementary School
Xenia Community Schools Cox Elementary School - Xenia, Ohio
Job DescriptionThe vacancy listed below is posted in compliance with the negotiated agreement between the Xenia Education Support Professionals and the Xenia Community Schools Board of Education. Employment Status: 6.5 hours daily (Monday-Friday) Benefits include:
Health, Dental, Vision, and Life Hourly Rate: $21.71 - $25.24
General Description:
Work collaboratively with professional staff in providing special education services to students.
Qualifications:
- Applicants must meet Highly Qualified Paraprofessional Requirements
- Possess a 2-year Associates Degree or 2 years of college credits (48 semester or 72 quarter hrs.) or passage of state paraprofessional standards exam (PARAPRO Test).
- Maintain a valid Ohio educational aide permit with ESEA qualifier
- Meet legal requirements for a criminal background check
