Job Description

What we need:
We are seeking energetic, passionate people who enjoy the outdoors and want to play a key role for the position of Natural Resources Administrator 1 (Cultural Resources/Tribal Engagement Administrator) within the Division of Parks & Watercraft, headquartered in Greene County at Great Council State Park. What you will do… Plans, develops, assesses, and coordinates historical and cultural programs, displays, and materials;
Represents the division in liaison capacity with tribal governments & serves as primary point of contact for tribal & native issues;
Assists with visitor services, programs, activities, and revenue generating operations for Great Council State Park;
Coordinates & provides training to division staff & volunteers regarding cultural, tribal & native relations and the recognition and treatment of archaeological resources;
Manages stakeholder relations, community outreach, volunteers & friends groups;
Starting hourly pay $33.32/hr. with multiple pay increases over your first 6.5 years of service, with an end salary of $47.47/hr there may also be cost of living adjustments (COLA) applied. Longevity pay supplements begin after five (5) years of state service. Qualifications

48 mos. trg. or 48 mos. exp. in natural resources specialty (i.e., Cultural Resources/Tribal Engagement) indicated under job duties within approved position description; valid driver's license.

-Or undergraduate major core program & 24 mos. trg. or 24 mos. exp. in natural resources specialty (i.e., Cultural Resources/Tribal Engagement) indicated under job duties within approved position; valid driver's license.

-Or completion of graduate major core program & 12 mos. exp. in natural resources specialty (i.e., Cultural Resources/Tribal Engagement) indicated under job duties within approved position description; valid driver's license.

-Or equivalent of minimum class qualifications for employment noted above.
