What we need:
We are seeking energetic, passionate people who enjoy the outdoors and want to play a key role for the position of Natural Resources Administrator 1 (Cultural Resources/Tribal Engagement Administrator) within the Division of Parks & Watercraft, headquartered in Greene County at Great Council State Park. What you will do… Plans, develops, assesses, and coordinates historical and cultural programs, displays, and materials;
Represents the division in liaison capacity with tribal governments & serves as primary point of contact for tribal & native issues;
Assists with visitor services, programs, activities, and revenue generating operations for Great Council State Park;
Coordinates & provides training to division staff & volunteers regarding cultural, tribal & native relations and the recognition and treatment of archaeological resources;
Manages stakeholder relations, community outreach, volunteers & friends groups;
Starting hourly pay $33.32/hr. with multiple pay increases over your first 6.5 years of service, with an end salary of $47.47/hr there may also be cost of living adjustments (COLA) applied. Longevity pay supplements begin after five (5) years of state service.
