Join our dynamic team at Alpine Rehabilitation and Nursing Center, a premier healthcare provider in Xenia, OH. As an Activity Assistant, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for our residents by creating engaging and enjoyable experiences.

As an Activity Assistant, you will plan, organize, and implement activities that cater to the diverse interests and abilities of our residents. You will also assist with daily living tasks, such as feeding, bathing, and dressing, as well as maintain a clean and safe environment. Your creativity, enthusiasm, and warm demeanor will make a significant difference in the lives of our residents.

• Plan and execute activities, including arts and crafts, games, and outings, that promote resident engagement and socialization
• Assist with daily living tasks, such as feeding, bathing, and dressing, as needed
• Maintain accurate records of resident activities and participation
• Collaborate with other team members to develop and implement activity programs
• Create a warm and welcoming environment that promotes resident comfort and well-being
• Assist with light housekeeping and laundry duties
• Perform other duties as assigned

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Previous experience in a healthcare setting, or a related field, preferred
• Ability to lift 25 pounds and stand for long periods
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
