Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore, candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times.

• Properly follow company and OSHA safety procedures.
• Weigh and purchase inbound scrap, obtaining required information from customers for all transactions. Complete purchasing and shipping documents.
• Control traffic patterns in yard.
• Perform general office administration duties.
• Serve as a back‑up cashier, greeter and possibly other positions as needed.
• Willing to cross‑train in other positions and assist other teammates as needed.
• Other duties as assigned by management.

• Minimum of 2 years previous customer service experience preferred.
• Scrap knowledge a plus.
