Physical Security Officer

Securitas seeks a reliable Physical Security Officer to protect people, property, and assets for diverse client sites. In this role, you will perform routine patrols, monitor access points and security systems, respond to alarms and incidents, and enforce site policies with professionalism and integrity. You will interact with employees, visitors, and the public, provide clear documentation through detailed incident reports, and support emergency procedures.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular interior and exterior patrols of assigned facilities
• Monitor access control points, badges, and visitor check-in procedures
• Observe CCTV and security systems to identify and respond to suspicious activity
• Respond to alarms, incidents, and emergencies following established protocols
• Prepare clear, accurate, and timely incident and daily activity reports
• Enforce client policies and site rules with professionalism and consistency
• Provide customer service, directions, and assistance to employees and visitors
• Liaise with client contacts and public safety responders when needed
• Support safety drills and emergency evacuation procedures
• Maintain a visible security presence that reflects Securitas values of integrity, vigilance, and helpfulness
