Role Description The Memorial Setting Team Member is a full-time, on-site role based in Xenia, OH. This position is responsible for the installation and setting of memorials and monuments at cemeteries and other locations, including site preparation, measuring, leveling, and securing memorials in accordance with safety and quality standards. Day-to-day tasks include operating tools and equipment, loading and unloading memorials, performing basic maintenance on vehicles and tools, and following work orders and layout plans.

The role also involves communicating with team members, following cemetery regulations, maintaining a clean and organized work area, and adhering to all safety procedures. The team member may assist with inspections, minor repairs, and occasional interaction with cemetery staff and families in a professional, respectful manner.

Qualifications

• Ability to perform physical, outdoor work, including lifting/pushing/pulling heavy materials, standing for extended periods, and working in various weather conditions.
• Basic mechanical aptitude and comfort using hand tools, power tools, and equipment such as dollies, truck cranes, or heavy equipment.
• Strong attention to detail for measuring, leveling, and aligning memorials accurately according to specifications.
• Reliability and time management skills to follow schedules, complete assigned tasks, and meet project deadlines.
• Professional and respectful communication skills when working with team members, cemetery staff, and occasionally families.
• Commitment to safety practices, including following written procedures, using protective equipment, and maintaining a hazard-free work environment.
• Valid driver's license and a clean driving record; ability to drive company trucks locally to cemeteries and job sites as needed.
• High school diploma or equivalent; prior experience in construction, landscaping, masonry, or monument setting is beneficial but not required.
