Responsibilities- Create and complete the production paperwork throughout the shift (Production reports, pick lists, variance reports, etc.).
- Create/Print labels for finished goods as they are completed.
- Verify that the parts, quantity, and packaging are correct per the control plan/work instructions before labeling the container. Escalate any concerns.
- Enter scrap transactions into D365 along with the appropriate qty and scrap reason.
- Substitute material on jobs if using material other than what’s called out in the Bill of Materials.
- Label any partial containers and sub-inventory transfer to a partial location in D365.
- Review material variance report. If the variance is over +/- $300 (or a specified amount), turn it into the Production Manager.
- Check/Monitor blank lengths at the start/run and multiple times throughout the shift/run. Report any discrepancies to the Team Leader.
- Complete the process to reclass parts when needed.
- Complete and send an end-of-shift email daily to communicate upcoming changes, high scrap, inventory discrepancies, MUV, or any other escalations.
- Report any high scrap, inventory discrepancies, or material usage variances immediately and in the EOS report.
- Create and complete jobs in D365 as needed.
- High School diploma, GED, or equivalent experience
- Must be able to read and understand English
- Computer knowledge required
- Good organization skills required
- Good communication skills required (Verbal and written)
- Excel knowledge preferred.
