Substitute Teacher

Salary: $200.00 per day

Directly Responsible To:
Building Principal

Minimum Qualifications:

* Must hold a valid Washington State teaching certificate

* Successful substitute teaching experience preferred but not required

Major Tasks and Responsibilities:

* Follow all lesson plans and other instructions provided by the regular teacher and/or school

* Assume responsibility for duties assigned to the regular teacher

* Provide instruction and modify instruction to meet the diverse learning needs of all students

* Demonstrate effective classroom management

* Create a safe and positive classroom environment conducive to learning

* Foster a positive attitude with students, parents and staff

* Utilize effective human relations and/or communication skills

* Complete necessary paperwork in a timely manner

* Other duties as assigned
