Learn Well provides on-site educational services in hospitals, helping school-age patients with behavioral health issues continue their education during treatment and reintegrate into the classroom. Location:
Yakima, WA 98902. Position:
Part-time teacher for the school year in a residential eating disorder facility. Salary: $24.00 per hour. Education level: 4 year degree.
Join a team that plans and delivers daily lessons, provides individualized student support, and communicates student progress as needed. The role requires monitoring and adjusting teaching strategies to promote student success, with attendance and session reports maintained accurately. Typical class sizes range from 8 to 15 students.
Responsibilities- Plan and deliver daily lesson plans in a small classroom setting.
- Provide individualized assistance to students.
- Communicate regularly about student progress and needs.
- Monitor and adjust teaching strategies to ensure student success.
- Maintain accurate attendance and session reports.
- 20-hour per week commitment, Monday–Friday, 9:00 am – 1:00 pm.
- Part-time role in a residential treatment setting.
- B.A./B.S. degree from an accredited institution.
- Active Washington teaching license.
- Comfortable working with 7th–12th grade students.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Understanding of subject matter relevant to student needs.
- Reliable transportation.
