Lecturer Positions

The Department of Curriculum, Supervision and Educational Leadership, Office of Field Experiences at CWU is accepting applications for current and future full-time, part-time, quarterly and annual appointment lecturer positions to supervise student teachers in the Greater Seattle/Puget Sound/Western Washington and Central Washington.

Master's Degree;
Three years of successful K-12 teaching; and Experience working with diverse student populations.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in the supervision of student teachers/practicum students
• Doctorate, ABD or advanced graduate work
• Experience with education technology
• University level teaching experience

Pay:
Based on the terms and conditions of the Collective Bargaining Agreement. The minimum remuneration for the non-tenure-track titles for the  academic year will be as follows: (a) Lecturer: $1,224 per workload unit for faculty with terminal degrees; $979 per workload unit for faculty without terminal degrees. (b) Senior Lecturer: $1,346 per workload unit for faculty with terminal degrees; $1,075 per workload unit for faculty without terminal degrees.

Effective September 1, 2026, The minimum remuneration for the non-tenure-track titles for the  academic year will be as follows: (a) Lecturer: $1,248 per workload unit for faculty with terminal degrees; $999 per workload unit for faculty without terminal degrees. (b) Senior Lecturer: $1,373 per workload unit for faculty with terminal degrees; $1,097 per workload unit for faculty without terminal degrees.

Ellensburg (main campus), Des Moines, Lynnwood, Moses Lake, Pierce County, Wenatchee, Yakima. Additional Information:
This announcement will be used to develop a pool of applicants for positions in the department of Curriculum, Supervision, and Educational Leadership through March 2027. There is a possibility that selected applicants may be called on short notice to fill lecturer vacancies on a quarter-by-quarter basis. Screening of applications begins immediately and will continue as needed. The number of lecturer positions filled varies from quarter to quarter, depending upon the needs of the department.

Positions typically start at the beginning of an academic quarter. Your application will be maintained in this pool for consideration through March 2027.
