Civil Engineer - OCONUS - Kinshasa, Democratic Republic of Congo

Exp Federal is an established full‑service architectural and engineering firm that supports the U.S. Department of State. This position is on‑site in Kinshasa, Democratic Republic of the Congo.

• Understand the layout and size of fundamental systems: storm, sanitary, vent, water, and gas.
• Review contractor submittals against specifications and respond to contractor Request for Information (RFIs).
• Develop independent cost estimates both for the government and for internal proposal purposes.
• Understand the scope of SD, DD, and CD level documents and prepare and deliver drawings at the appropriate level.

• Bachelor’s in engineering from an accredited American university or Professional Engineering License.
• 7+ years of experience in the commercial construction industry.
• Active Security Clearance from the U.S. Federal Government; ability to obtain and maintain a Security Clearance.
• U.S. citizenship required for this position.

This position has an annual range of $110,000 to $150,000, based on factors such as skill set, experience, certifications, and location.
