Electro Mechanical Technician|Yakima|HIRING IMMEDIATELY

Pay: $26.30 to $36.56. Compensation is based on experience, qualifications, and technical knowledge.

Hours: 6:00 AM to 4:00 PM Monday through Thursday

Job Description: Under the direction of the Electronic Engineer, this position is a key part of a team responsible for the rebuilding and refurbishment of film extrusion equipment. Basic functions include electrical panel assembly, machine wiring, AutoCAD drawings/schematics, mechanical assembly, and initial equipment disassembly. May include making modifications to existing equipment, repairs, and preventative maintenance functions.

Education: HS Diploma or GED equivalent. Associate or bachelor's degree preferred in Industrial Maintenance, Engineering Technician, Automation, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Controls Engineering or similar.

Knowledge and

Experience:

• 2-5 years’ industrial maintenance experience
• Mechanics and machine operation
• PLC troubleshooting experience
• VFDs, motors, sensors, and controls
• Pneumatic and hydraulic troubleshooting
• Electrical systems and schematics
• Workplace safety procedures
• Ability to diagnose and repair automated manufacturing equipment

The salary range is a guideline. The displayed range reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. At Novolex, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case.
