Qualifications

The FP&A Manager role is created to provide business decision making support to the leadership of Yakima Chief and to help establish the costing and analytical systems that will support the business as it grows. This is an opportunity to help build the business as a key member of the team charged with tracking and supporting the strategic objectives of leaders throughout the company.
The role will report to the Chief Financial Officer. The position will also provide direction of process and systems development consistency to the team in Europe as well as advising on analytical processes to be aligned internationally.
- Lead the annual support for strategic planning preparation. Based on the annual refresh of the strategic plan, lead the development of the annual budget
- Develop a deep understanding of the product costing system in X3 and support the Controller and cost accounting team to develop accurate and meaningful analysis of gross margins by product, customer and reporting unit.
- Development of, and ongoing maintenance of, a long‑term financial model that reflects the strategy and objectives of the business. This model will include revenue sources, inventory costing, Cap Ex requirements, debt service, labor requirements and operational cost projections.
- Prepare the monthly financial statements for the company in coordination with the Global Corporate Controller.
- Evaluate monthly financial results reported by the company and provide an analysis of financial results and any variances from budget and expectations. Work with operational managers to provide insight into the financial results to be shared with Leadership as well as the Finance and Audit Committee of the Board.
- Plan and coordinate the quarterly revised forecast of financial results.
- Maintain a sanitary and safe work environment.
- Follow safety requirements.
- May actively participate on the company’s Safety Committee.
- Ensure that company safety policies as well as federal, state and local safety and environmental regulations are observed.
- Must have a complete understanding of company’s policies, Employee Handbook, SOPs, QPs, EPs, HACCP and cGMP to ensure quality, safety, efficiency and sustainability.
- Must adhere to all company policies.
- Examine documents, materials, and products and monitor work processes to assess completeness, accuracy and conformance to standards and specifications.
- Follow all SOPs in a given area.
- Perform all other duties as assigned by Manager and/or designee.
