Join Our Team as an Experienced Audiologist Are you passionate about improving lives through exceptional hearing care? We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Audiologist to provide comprehensive diagnostic and rehabilitative services in a dynamic clinical setting. This full-time position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact on patients of all ages, utilizing your expertise and compassion.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform diagnostic hearing assessments, including pure tone air and bone conduction tests, speech audiometry, and impedance audiometry for patients from birth through senior age. Interpret test results accurately for patients and physicians, guiding appropriate treatment plans. Recommend medical follow-up, hearing aids, ear protection, and other audiological services. Conduct hearing aid evaluations to select the most suitable amplification solutions, fitting devices and providing detailed instruction on operation and maintenance.
Perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on hearing aids purchased through our clinic. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Required Skills:
Active Washington State Audiology license. Successful completion of a master's or doctoral degree program in audiology with clinical practicum experience. Ability to perform and interpret a wide range of audiological assessments. Strong communication skills for patient education and interdisciplinary collaboration. Attention to detail and problem-solving skills. BLS certification (or ability to obtain prior to start). Nice to Have
Skills:
Experience with advanced audiological technology and troubleshooting. Bilingual abilities to serve diverse patient populations. Prior experience in a clinic-based setting. Knowledge of the latest hearing aid technologies and fitting protocols. Preferred
Education and Experience:
AuD degree from a board-approved institution (preferred). Previous experience in a clinical audiology setting. Active certification and ongoing professional development. Other Requirements:
Travel is not typically required; however, flexibility around occasional outreach or training may be preferred. Valid state licensure and current BLS certification are mandatory.
