Job Title: Registered Nurse - Emergency Department

Job Description:
The Registered Nurse in the Emergency Department will provide care in a high volume, high acuity environment. The nurse will work with a diverse patient population ranging from neonates to geriatrics in a Level III trauma center.
Responsibilities:
- Manage medication administration including drips and blood products.
- Triage patients and administer TNK for strokes and manage cardiac emergencies.
- Set up chest tubes, art lines, and assist in trauma and code situations.
- Provide care across all patient types including pediatrics and behavioral health.
- Minimum of 3 years experience in a large volume ED with high acuity patients.
- Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, PALS or ENPC, TNCC.
- Skills in barcode scanning med administration and EPIC EMR preferred.
- Must pass hospital Triage Test before triaging patients.
