SUDP Addiction Counselor- Yakima, WA

Psych Pros is a nationally recognized staffing and recruiting firm dedicated to behavioral healthcare. We are currently recruiting for a SUDP Addiction Counselor to work full-time at an inpatient treatment center in Yakima, WA.

• High School Degree or GED required
• Bachelor’s degree is preferred
• Must possess the Substance Use Disorder Professional credential

• $28.60 To $38.60 hourly depending on education and experience

• Sunday-Thursday 8am-5pm

• Provide individual and group counseling to individuals requiring assistance in dealing with substance use disorder
• Effectively communicate clients’ needs, progress, problems, and recommendations to treatment teams and various agencies
• Understand and implement the essential elements of the ASAM assessment, placement process, objectives of individualized treatment planning as directed by ASAM criteria, and the essential elements of the ASAM continuous stay criteria
• Document individual and group sessions and conduct case reviews
