Occupational Therapist

Providence Swedish Rehabilitation Hospital seeks a compassionate Occupational Therapist to join our Healthcare & Medical Services team. In this patient-centered role, you will assess functional abilities, create individualized treatment plans, and deliver evidence-based interventions to help patients regain independence after illness, injury, or surgery. You'll collaborate closely with an inclusive, interdisciplinary team and educate patients and families on home programs and adaptive strategies.

• Evaluate patients' functional abilities and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Provide evidence-based occupational therapy interventions to improve ADLs and functional independence.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, PTs, SLPs, and social workers on coordinated care plans.
• Educate patients and families on home programs, adaptive techniques, and safety strategies.
• Document assessments, progress notes, and discharge plans in accordance with regulatory standards.
• Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and case conferences.
• Supervise and mentor therapy assistants and students as assigned.
• Contribute to quality improvement initiatives and clinical best-practice development.
