Social Worker

A medical and surgical facility located in Yakima, WA, is hiring contract social workers to provide assessments, treatment, care planning, and psychosocial therapy within an inpatient clinic setting, aiming to prevent acute care situations and manage patients with chronic diseases. In this position, a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) will utilize their strong analytical, interpretive, and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities:

• Administer assessment tools and collect data to evaluate the need for additional services.
• Conduct interviews with families to identify the social work needs of the participants.
• Reach out to community resources to coordinate the necessary services.
• Provide both initial and ongoing assessments of the participants' social, emotional, and cognitive status and needs.
• Ensure accurate documentation is maintained for all assessments, treatment plans, and evaluations.

Qualifications:

- MSW from an accredited institution

- Current LICSW licensure

- Minimum 2 years of experience in a behavioral health setting

- Be available to work Monday through Friday, 7 am to 5:30 pm with rotating weekends

- Hourly rate:
Up to $67/hr, DOE
