About JCM Associates

JCM Associates, Inc. is a family-owned commercial mechanical and plumbing contractor with 38 years of history in the DC Metro region. We have built a reputation for delivering technically complex, high-value projects for the region's top owners, developers, and general contractors - data centers, hospitals, federal facilities, high-rise residential, college campuses, and trophy office buildings - with project values ranging from $15M to $200M+.

Thirty-eight years as a family-owned business has shaped everything about how we operate. Our culture is close-knit, collaborative, and genuinely team-first - the kind of environment where people know each other, look out for each other, and take pride in the work they do together. We are based in Upper Marlboro, MD - just 20 minutes from Washington DC - in a brand-new, state-of-the-art office and fabrication facility purpose-built for the scale of work we do.

Careers are built here. Skills are developed here. People are valued here - and that is exactly why so many of our team members have stayed for 20 years or more.

If you are an experienced mechanical construction PM looking for a company where your work will matter and your growth will be supported, we would like to hear from you.

Why PMs Choose JCM
  • Ownership and authority: Lead your projects with real accountability and decision-making authority - financial performance, field execution, team leadership, and client relationships are yours to own.
  • Complex, high-profile work: Work on some of the most technically demanding mechanical and plumbing construction projects in the DC Metro region.
  • A clear path forward: Strong PMs at JCM move into Senior PM and Project Executive roles. We promote from within and invest in the people who consistently deliver.
  • A culture worth staying for: Close-knit, team-first environment with company outings, team events, and colleagues who have chosen to stay for decades.
  • State-of-the-art home base: A brand-new, state-of-the-art headquarters in Upper Marlboro, MD - purpose-built fabrication shop, modern offices, and an on-site fitness center.
  • Competitive total compensation: Base salary, annual performance bonus, vehicle allowance, WEX fuel card, and a comprehensive benefits package including personal training and nutrition coaching - details below.
The Role

We are seeking an experienced and proven Project Manager (PM) to lead the delivery of commercial mechanical and plumbing construction projects across MD, VA, and DC.

This is a full-ownership role. Our PMs lead their projects from buyout through closeout - managing financial performance, field execution, client relationships, and the APM and PE team supporting them. You will work directly with field Foremen, be on the job site regularly, and be the person your team and your client rely on to keep everything moving. If you have run mechanical or plumbing construction projects and are looking for a company that takes the work seriously and invests in the people who deliver it, we would like to talk.
