Wire Harness Tech - Entry Level
REPORTS TO:
Avionics Supervisor
POSITION SUMMARY:
The Entry Level Wire Harness Technician is responsible for assembling wire harnesses, and electrical sub-assemblies for various essential electrical systems on Cub Crafters line of back country aircraft utilizing electrical diagrams and schematics and a wide range of hand tools.
RESPONSIBILITIES- Assemble various wire harnesses by measuring, cutting, trimming, crimping, soldering, marking and bundling of wires in accordance with schematics and defined process and procedures
- Read and interpret manufacturers’ installation instructions and Cub Crafters mechanical drawings
- Read and interpret manufacturers and Cub Crafters wiring diagrams
- Regularly completes tasks in a timely and cost-effective manner
- Conducts business in a respectful and productive manner
- Foster good working relationships with peers and supervisors
- Demonstrates continuous learning and self-improvement in all job functions
- Ability to learn how to read and understand electrical and mechanical drawings
- Technical, analytical and problem solving skills with strong attention to detail
- Experience with soldering of wire and coax cable
- Basic understanding of wiring schematics
- Experience with various hand tools, crimpers, wire strippers, etc.
- Ability to measure accurately in both, fractions and decimals
- Pay: DOE – Range is $19.00 - $24.00 per hour
- Sick Leave benefit which is more generous than what is required under WA State Law (RCW 49.46.210)

- One-week paid vacation after year one. After two years, two weeks of paid vacation

- Full-time, non-exempt (hourly).
- Approximately 40 hours per week.
