CNC Programmer
This role focuses on developing, optimizing, and maintaining CNC programs to produce high-precision components that meet tight tolerances. The CNC Programmer collaborates closely with engineering and production teams to ensure efficient machining processes, consistent workflow, and high-quality output with minimal supervision.
Responsibilities- Develop CNC programs to produce precision components that meet tight tolerances and quality standards.
- Optimize existing CNC programs to improve cycle times, tool life, and overall machining efficiency.
- Maintain and update CNC programs to reflect engineering changes, process improvements, and production requirements.
- Collaborate closely with engineering and production teams to ensure efficient machining processes and smooth workflow.
- Interpret blueprints and GD&T to accurately define part features, tolerances, and machining requirements.
- Use Mastercam and related tools to create, edit, and verify CNC toolpaths and G-code programs.
- Support process optimization initiatives by analyzing machining performance and recommending improvements.
- Apply a strong understanding of tooling selection, machine maintenance, and production flow to enhance reliability and throughput.
- Work independently with minimal supervision in a manufacturing environment to meet production schedules.
- Support continuous improvement efforts by identifying opportunities to enhance quality, efficiency, and consistency in machining operations.
- Use Predator DNC or similar systems to manage and transfer CNC programs to machines.
- Ensure programs comply with safety, quality, and operational standards at all times.
- Demonstrate flexibility to work overtime and weekends as needed to support production demands.
- Proven experience in CNC programming for precision components in a manufacturing environment.
- Proficiency in CNC programming and G-code programming for complex parts and tight tolerances.
- Ability to interpret blueprints and apply GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing).
- Hands-on experience with Mastercam for creating and optimizing CNC toolpaths.
- Experience with Predator DNC or similar DNC systems for program management and transfer.
- Advanced machining math skills.
- Solid understanding of tooling selection, machine maintenance, and production flow.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Detail-oriented mindset with a focus on accuracy, quality, and repeatability.
- Experience supporting process optimization and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Flexibility to work overtime and weekends as needed to meet production requirements.

WorkEnvironment
This position is based in a manufacturing environment where you will work around CNC machines and related production equipment. The role follows a first-shift schedule, typically from 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., providing a consistent daytime work routine. The setting is production-focused, requiring attention to safety, organization, and adherence to established processes.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Permanent position based out of Yakima, WA.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $64600.00 - $91900.00/yr. 401(k) with company match Profit sharing / performance-based incentives (varies by role) Competitive hourly pay across skilled trades roles Potential bonuses depending on position
