Job Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a large-volume, high-acuity Emergency Department or Level III trauma ED
- Active Registered Nurse license (Washington or compact RN preferred)
- Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, PALS or ENPC, TNCC
- Proficiency with barcode scanning medication administration, medication drips, and blood product administration
- Demonstrated ability to manage triage (must pass hospital triage test) and a strong understanding of ESI (Emergency Severity Index)
- Skills in chest tube and arterial line setup, assisting with trauma and code cases, splinting, and bipap/ventilator management
- Pediatric emergency medicine experience highly preferred
- Experience with Point-of-Care labs and EPIC EMR a plus
- Travel RN experience preferred; first-time travelers not considered for this role
- Deliver high-quality, compassionate emergency care to patients from neonates through geriatrics in a busy, high-acuity ED
- Perform triage, administer medications, manage drips, and safely administer blood products
- Assist with trauma activations, codes, and advanced procedures such as chest tube and arterial line setup
- Provide care for a broad range of emergency presentations including pediatric emergencies, stroke, cardiac events, behavioral health, and substance use disorders
- Stabilize and coordinate transfer of high-acuity patients to specialty services (neurosurgery, multi-system trauma, pediatric critical care)
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams in a zone-based ED environment to optimize patient flow and outcomes
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation using EPIC EMR
- Demonstrate scheduling flexibility, including weekend rotations and night shift coverage

Compensation: Competitive travel RN compensation.
