About the Position
Job Title:
Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA)
Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) to join our dynamic anesthesia team. This full-time role offers an excellent opportunity to provide high-quality anesthesia care across a diverse case mix, supporting multiple operating rooms and treatment areas. Your expertise will be instrumental in delivering exceptional perioperative services in a fast-paced, medically supervised environment.
Required Skills:
Valid certified registered nurse anesthetist (CRNA) licensure in the state
Minimum of 2 years of CRNA experience in a surgical setting
Proven ability to independently administer anesthesia for a variety of procedures
Strong knowledge of anesthesia protocols, medications, and equipment
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Ability to work night shifts, including overtime with prior approval
Experience with pediatric cases is preferred, but not mandatory
Nice to Have
Skills:
Experience with robotic procedures
Familiarity with a variety of surgical specialties, including ENT, general surgery, GI endoscopy, GYN, orthopedics, urology, vascular, OB, pediatric cases, regional anesthesia, and thoracic procedures
Prior experience working in a high-volume, multi-room surgical environment
Preferred
Education and Experience:
Master’s or Doctoral degree in Nursing with specialized anesthesia training
At least 2 years of professional anesthesia practice in a hospital or surgical center setting
Other Requirements:
Ability to work nights (3x12-hour shifts, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
Must support approximately 40-45 cases per day, averaging 3-4 cases per CRNA
Willingness to work a minimum of 2 weeks per month, with all overtime pre-approved
Credentialing timeline approximately 60 days
No neuro or complex vascular cases; the focus is on outpatient and healthy pediatric cases, with some cardiac, orthopedic, OB, and regional surgeries
