Position Summary
The Nurse Manager is an excellent opportunity for those seeking to advance a meaningful career in patient care, services and operations. Hospital-based leaders may report within a dual matrixed structure.
Responsibilities- Define, develop, and monitor standards of patient care and nursing practices.
- Ensure availability and appropriate allocation of human and material resources.
- Support successful collaboration between nursing, physicians, and other disciplines to achieve desired patient care outcomes and departmental strategic plans.
- Coordinate overall operations of assigned units and provision of resources.
- Facilitate optimal and cost‑efficient patient care delivery.
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing, obtained within five (5) years from initial hire date; RN with 15+ years of service or internal candidates hired before January1,2021 may satisfy this requirement in lieu of an education agreement.
- Advanced degree in Nursing (MSN, PhD, DNP, ARNP) preferred.
- Current Registered Nurse license in Washington State or Multistate License endorsement (MLS).
- Five (5) years of clinical experience in a professional or technical role/function preferred.
- Three (3) years of experience in a supervisory or lead capacity preferred.
- Compensation range: $ – $USD, dependent on skill set, level of experience and certifications.
