Travel Cath Lab RN – 13‑Week Assignment in Yakima, Washington

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a skilled Cardiac Cath Lab RN for a 13‑week travel assignment in Yakima, Washington. Applicants must have at least one year of recent experience as a Cath Lab RN and a valid RN license in compliance with state regulations.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessment of patients prior to procedures, including reviewing medical history and performing physical exams.
• Assist physicians during procedures, including placement of catheters, wires, balloons, stents, structural heart devices, and other cardiac interventions.
• Operate and monitor hemodynamic equipment, recognizing and responding to changes in cardiac rhythms and hemodynamic waveforms.
• Assist in arterial and/or venous sheath removal using closure devices, manual pressure, or mechanical compression, and transport patients to recovery areas.
• Support post‑procedure care, including monitoring patient recovery and ensuring a smooth transition to the next phase of care.
• Maintain and troubleshoot cath lab equipment, ensuring everything is functioning properly and fully stocked for procedures.
• Communicate effectively with team members, patients, families, and physicians to provide seamless care.
• Adhere to hospital safety protocols, infection control guidelines, and regulatory standards.

• Must be able to read, write, and communicate in English.
• Physical Abilities: Must remain in a stationary position, move about, move equipment (50‑100 lbs), push, pull, and bend.

• Mental Requirements: Must cope with frequent contact with the general public and customers while meeting deadlines under pressure; may work under close supervision occasionally or without assistance.
