Emergency Room registered nurses (RN) provide care for patients from various types of illness or trauma requiring emergency attention and must be able to recognize and effectively treat life‑threatening conditions.

• Assesses, intervenes, and stabilizes a variety of trauma and illnesses with decisive action.
• Maintains knowledge of general and specific health issues related to urgent treatment.
• Understands triage and prioritizes injuries based on medical need.
• Performs quick and accurate assessments of incoming patients, both physical and mental health conditions.

• Active RN license.
• Degree from an accredited nursing program.
• BLS, ACLS, PALS & TNCC may be required in some positions.
• At least eighteen months recent experience in an acute‑care emergency room setting.
• Other requirements determined by the client facility.
