Job Summary:

Medical Surgical with Telemetry (MS TELE) nurse position in Yakima, Washington. This role involves providing patient care for adult post-surgical, stroke, oncology, respiratory, and orthopedic patients in a non-profit community hospital setting. The nurse will be responsible for managing complex medical conditions including chest tubes, trachs, PICC/midlines, dressings, wound vacs, and ostomies, with occasional pediaetric and psychiatric patients based on experience.

• Schedule:
  
  12-hour shifts, with shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications:
  
  Valid licensure certifications including Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS); must pass tele exam during compliance. Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) is preferred.
• Preferred Qualifications:
  
  Experience with pediatric and psychiatric patient populations is advantageous but not required.
• Float:
  Float rotation may be required to 2 East/Ward, 2 North/Ward, 3 East/Ward, 3 North/Ward, the 5th floor, or Emergency Room for Medical-Surgical holds.
• Additional Information:
  The facility is a non-profit community hospital with approximately 226 beds. The position involves managing adult and, if experienced, pediatric patients, including those with respiratory, GI, orthopedic, or COVID-related conditions. Candidates may be asked to perform total care duties or act as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) when needed. Scrub color is any solid color without graphics or designs. Start date is August 24, 2026.
