Job Description:

The Registered Nurse in the Emergency Department provides care for patients across the lifespan from neonate to geriatric in a busy ED setting. This role requires a high level of proficiency with critical care interventions, including managing medication drips, triage, and trauma support.

Responsibilities:

• Administer medications using barcode scanning technology
• Set up and manage chest tubes and arterial lines
• Assist with trauma and code cases
• Provide triage and pediatric emergency care

Requirements:

• Minimum of 3 years experience in a large volume ED with high acuity patients
• Certifications:
  
  ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, PALS or ENPC, TNCC
• Skills in ESI, blood product administration, and use of Epic EMR
• Pediatric emergency medicine experience preferred
