Travel RN - Leadership - Nurse Manager

American Traveler is seeking an experienced Interim Imaging Manager to oversee daily operations of a hospital imaging department, requiring a WA or compact RN license and prior supervisory experience.

• Active WA state or compact RN license required
• Bachelor's degree in a related field or graduation from an accredited imaging modality program required
• Equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered
• Master's degree preferred
• Registry or registry eligibility with ARRT, ARDMS, or NMTCB required
• Current Washington State Certification required if applicable
• Minimum of five years of progressively responsible work experience required
• At least three years of supervisory or management experience required

• Hospital-based Imaging department leadership role
• Responsible for coordinating overall operations of the Medical Imaging unit
• Oversees resource allocation and ensures cost-efficient, quality patient care delivery
• Collaborates with nursing, physicians, and other disciplines to achieve optimal patient outcomes
• Schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with flexibility required
• Some weekend coverage and after-hours call availability required
• Service responsibility may extend 24/7 depending on site and modality needs
• May involve a dual matrixed reporting structure typical of hospital-based leadership roles
• Defines and monitors standards of patient care and imaging practice
• Ensures appropriate utilization of human and material resources within the department
• Maintains extensive internal and external contacts including physicians, vendors, and healthcare management
• Serves as a key liaison between imaging staff and other hospital departments
• Interprets and applies a wide variety of policies, procedures, and programs
