Site EHS Specialist - Yakima, WA About the RoleThe Site EHS Specialist ensures regulatory compliance and supports a strong safety culture through incident investigation, environmental management, training, and close coordination with employees, the Safety Committee, and site leadership.
What You’ll Do- Champion safe work practices and support proactive hazard identification across the site.
- Coordinate Safety Committee activities and assist with emergency preparedness and drills.
- Manage assigned safety programs (LOTO, mobile equipment, contractor safety, etc.).
- Investigate incidents, near misses, injuries, and illnesses; support root-cause analysis and corrective actions.
- Ensure compliance with WA OSHA, WA EPA, GMP, and all applicable federal, state, and local regulations.
- Maintain Triumph’s Environmental Management System (EMS) and support ISO 14001 compliance.
- Oversee environmental programs including wastewater, stormwater, spill prevention, and reporting.
- Prepare and maintain environmental permits and hazardous waste documentation.
- Conduct risk assessments, workplace evaluations, and EHS audits.
- Deliver EHS training and communicate safety expectations across departments.
- Bachelor’s degree in EHS, Occupational Safety, Environmental Engineering, Industrial Hygiene, Physical Sciences, Business, or related field (preferred).
- 3-6 years of EHS experience.
- Certifications such as REM, CIH, ASP, CSP, or CHMM (preferred).
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to analyze and report incident data and provide accurate EHS guidance.
- Experience with ISO 14001 or ISO 45001 preferred.
- Aerospace manufacturing experience preferred.
- Familiarity with Lean or Six Sigma is a plus.
Pay Range: $90,200 - $115,000.Hiring range and position pay range may differ, commensurate with education level, qualifications, and experience.
