Concession Worker | Part-Time | Washington State

The Concessions Worker prepares and serves concession items to guests, including beverages. The role ensures quality of food presentation, handles a cash register, and accepts payment. The position requires excellent attendance in accordance with attendance policy. This role pays an hourly rate of $18.00–$19.00 and is tip eligible.

• Conduct the cash register sales by taking and building orders, and completing the transaction.
• Prepare food and maintain knowledge of all areas in concessions operations.
• Maintain stock and supply levels and communicate low‑stock items to the Concessions Stand Manager.
• Listen and respond to customer requests or concerns.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including disposal of garbage and cleaning dishes.
• Serve beverages responsibly, including alcoholic drinks.
• Check guests’  accordance with state/federal regulations to verify minimum age requirement for alcoholic beverages.
• Maintain sanitation, health, and safety standards in work areas.

• High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).
• Three or more months’ experience in the food service industry (preferred).
• Previous cash‑handling experience (preferred).
• Ability to learn cash register operations and the corresponding system.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and a friendly, positive attitude with co‑workers, managers, volunteers, and guests.
• Must be available to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
