Territory

Washington, Idaho and Oregon

Workstyle

Remote; requires a minimum of 4 days in the field and approximately 50 overnight stays annually. The position is not eligible for visa sponsorship or relocation benefits.

Key Responsibilities
  • Create and implement territory coverage plans for optimal account coverage.
  • Conduct 85% in-person sales calls.
  • Use Salesforce to manage partner and customer data.
  • Forecast and build territory sales plans; deliver on annual sales objectives.
  • Analyze territory sales data and develop a unique growth strategy.
  • Attend relevant events annually within the territory.
  • Educate partners—breeders, shelters, and working dog professionals—on Royal Canin and Eukanuba nutritional programs.
  • Recommend Royal Canin and Eukanuba Healthy Pet and Reproductive/SOL nutritional solutions.
  • Present customer programming and build estimated feeding guidelines and budgets.
  • Drive partner recommendations and new business opportunities.
  • Recruit and source new partner acquisition across working professionals.
  • Collaborate with the PSRO and veterinary colleagues to advance PRO business and recommendations.
  • Achieve profitable sales growth by applying strong selling skills and understanding customer needs.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key individuals in PRO customers and identify new potential customers.
  • Collaborate with the team and other associates to provide customer insights and support regional objectives.
  • Attend and participate in events, regional and company meetings, and conference calls as required.
  • Complete weekly activity, expense, and other ad‑hoc reporting as needed by management.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma required;
    Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • 2+ years of sales experience, preferably B2B.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills (oral and written).
  • Knowledge of or interest in the pet professional/nutrition industry.
  • Proficiency in Excel, Power

    BI, Salesforce, and related tools.
  • Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
  • Overnight travel required up to 50% of the time; occasional weekends for conferences and events.
Benefits

Salary range: USD 79,280.00 – USD  (commensurate with experience). The total compensation package may include variable pay and allowances. Eligible employees are automatically enrolled in a 401(k) plan and may receive company‑sponsored medical, dental, vision, and basic life insurance. Other benefits include up to 18 weeks of paid parental leave, 120 hours of vacation per year, 100% pay for up to 40 hours of sick time per calendar year, 12 paid holidays, paid sick time, and a company car where applicable.
