An established and growing telecommunications provider is seeking a Commercial Account Executive to help drive business growth throughout the Yakima Valley and Tri-Cities region. What You'll Do Business Development & Sales- Identify, prospect, and develop new business opportunities through cold calling, networking, referrals, and lead generation activities.
- Qualify prospects and evaluate customer needs to develop tailored connectivity and technology solutions.
- Build and maintain a healthy 30/60/90-day sales pipeline to consistently meet or exceed sales goals.
- Develop and execute territory-specific prospecting strategies in partnership with sales leadership.
- Manage a geographic territory effectively through strong organization, prioritization, and time management.
- Establish visibility within the local business community and build strategic partnerships to drive market growth.
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with commercial customers.
- Serve as a trusted advisor by identifying opportunities to improve client operations through technology solutions.
- Address customer questions and concerns in a timely manner to ensure high levels of satisfaction and retention.
- Collaborate with technical, customer service, and support teams to deliver an exceptional customer experience from initial contact through implementation and ongoing support.
- Utilize Salesforce to manage pipeline activity, track opportunities, and maintain accurate customer records.
- Analyze sales activity, market trends, and competitive intelligence to identify growth opportunities.
- Prepare proposals, presentations, quotes, and customized solutions that meet customer requirements.
- Monitor key performance metrics and maintain strong closing ratios through disciplined pipeline management.
- Build relationships with local business organizations, community groups, and professional associations.
- Stay informed on industry trends, emerging technologies, and market developments.
- Represent the organization professionally throughout the territory and contribute to brand awareness and community involvement.
- 3-5+ years of successful B2B sales experience, preferably within telecommunications, technology, internet services, managed services, SaaS, or related industries.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales quotas and performance goals.
- Experience developing new business opportunities and managing commercial accounts.
- Strong relationship-building and consultative selling skills.
- Experience using CRM systems to manage pipelines and sales activity.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Experience selling telecommunications, fiber internet, voice, data, managed network, cloud, or technology solutions.
- Existing business relationships within the Yakima Valley, Tri-Cities, or surrounding markets.
- Salesforce experience strongly preferred.
- Proficiency with Microsoft 365, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Strong CRM experience, including pipeline management, reporting, forecasting, and activity tracking.
- Ability to analyze sales data and market trends to inform strategy and decision-making.
- Comfortable using mobile technology, tablets, virtual meeting platforms, and business applications.
- Self-motivated and highly organized sales professional.
- Strong hunter mentality with the ability to generate new business opportunities.
- Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with internal teams.
