We are searching for the best talent for a Territory Account Manager to be in the Yakima, WA area, which includes Pasco, Kennewick, Richland, and Issaquah.

Responsibilities
  • Represent the organization by interacting with established customers and developing new prospects to sell ACUVUE® Brand Contact Lenses.
  • Apply a broad knowledge of the organization’s products, services and marketing campaigns to close sales and maintain relations with identified customers.
  • Uncover and understand customers’ strategic priorities, buying motives, end‑user needs, office processes, and business operations across segments while gaining order or product commitment.
  • Learn the organization’s products, services and policies through sales training activities, reading manuals, attending seminars, and working with experienced sales representatives.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of the organization’s products and services, articulate added value in dialogue with customers, secure orders, assist in inventory/lens control, keep customers abreast of supply and price trends, and maintain records and reports of all activity phases.
  • Use scientific and economic product differentiation to customers in a compliant manner while maintaining the sales program within the assigned territory.
  • Position products and economic solutions as the best option for the customer and their patients, delivering a competitive clinical and financial message tailored to meet their unique needs.
  • Effectively communicate and utilize multiple resources and tools to deliver a clear and concise sales message, completing and executing pre‑call plans for all accounts that consistently change customer behavior.
Required Qualifications
  • Minimum of a bachelor’s degree.
  • At least 2 years of business‑to‑business and/or medical sales experience, or an equivalent combination of sales and/or industry experience achieving comparable knowledge, skills and abilities, or enrollment/completion of a J&J Sales Leadership Development Program (SLDP).
  • Valid U.S. driver’s license.
  • Ability to travel as needed, including overnight and/or weekend travel.
  • Excellent interpersonal, competitive selling technique, business acumen, organizational skills, ability to manage complexity, and strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Thorough knowledge and understanding of sales applications and principles.
  • Residence in or within close proximity to the geography.
  • Ability to lift up to thirty (30) lbs. periodically, sit at a desk for up to two (2) hours, climb stairs, walk quickly between business interactions, and travel by car or airplane independently.
Preferred Qualifications
  • A combination of business‑to‑business and medical sales experience.
  • Documented sales awards and achievements, prior management development training, or completion of major sales training courses.

Pay

$81,000 – $131,100

Benefits

Eligible for medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short‑ and long‑term disability, business accident insurance, and group legal insurance. Also eligible for the company’s consolidated retirement plan (pension) and 401(k), and long‑term incentive program. Time‑off benefits include 120 vacation hours, 40 sick hours (56 in Washington), 13 holiday days (including floating holidays), up to 40 hours of work, personal and family time, 480 hours of parental leave within one year of birth/adoption/foster care, 30 days of condolence leave (5 days for extended family), 10 days of caregiver leave, 4 days of volunteer leave, and 80 hours for military spouses.
