About the RoleWe’re currently seeking professional and motivated Armed Patrol Officers to join our team in the Yakimaarea
. This position plays a vital role in protecting client sites, responding to alarms, and maintaining a visible and reliable security presence across multiple locations. This is a uniformedpatrolpositionthat combines independent fieldwork with teamwork and situational adaptability. Patroloperations primarily run during night shifts, with limited daytime supervisorpatrolsavailable for senior‑level officers.
At PPC,patrolofficers are expected to be mobile and proactive— engaging with sites, identifying issues before they become problems, and maintaining strong communication with clients and the operations team to ensure consistent safety and service excellence.
Whilepatroltraining may begin at an unarmed status, all PPCPatrol
Officers are expected to transition toarmedrolesfollowing completion of required training and licensing.
- Patroland/or protect client sites by foot and company vehicle.
- Maintain a proactive security posture — deter, detect, and prevent illegal or unauthorized activities.
- Respond to alarms including burglary, fire, or motion activations.
- Respond promptly and professionally to client requests and needs.
- Ensure familiarity with and adherence to post orders for all assigned sites.
- Observe and report safety or security hazards promptly.
- Coordinate with law enforcement or emergency services when needed.
- Maintain company‑issued equipment and vehicles in a professional condition.
- Demonstrate sound judgment and professionalism during all interactions.

- Ability to obtain Washington and Oregon Armed Security Licenses.
- At least 25 years of agewith a clean driving record and valid Driver’s License.
- Reliable transportation with current vehicle insurance.
- Ability to pass a background check and pre‑employment drug screening.
- Strong communication and report‑writing skills.
- Basic computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office.
- Ability to meet the physical demands ofpatrolduties (standing, walking, driving, and occasional restraint).
- Adaptability to fast‑paced and dynamic environments.
- Team‑oriented mindset and professional appearance.
- Prior military, law enforcement, or security experience preferred.
- Starting Wage (per hour):
- $18.00-$21.00 (DOE) or
- $21.00–$24.00 (DOE) - with a currentarmedlicense or up
High School Diploma
GED
Valid State Drivers License
