The Role
We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Field Service Technician to support our customers across the Pacific Northwest, primarily in the Yakima and Tri‑Cities region of Washington.
This role plays a critical part in delivering hands‑on technical support to growers in the field. The Field Service Technician is responsible for equipment installation, troubleshooting, maintenance, and relocation of Phytech systems, while serving as a key liaison between customers and our technical support teams to ensure a seamless experience and high customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Provide fast, efficient, and professional customer service to growers and end‑users
- Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and relocate field hardware systems
- Work closely with the Technical Support team to diagnose and resolve technical issues
- Accurately report the status of all assigned tasks and maintain proper service documentation
- Complete daily outdoor field work across multiple customer locations
- Travel locally between grower sites throughout the region
- Manage assigned tasks while meeting seasonal timelines and operational deadlines
- Perform additional duties as required
Requirements
- Strong technical skills and problem‑solving ability to troubleshoot equipment and hardware systems
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for clear reporting and effective customer interactions
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel regularly between customer sites
- Ability to lift, push, or pull equipment weighing up to 75 lbs
- Ability to stand, bend, and perform physical work for extended periods during installations or maintenance
- Willingness to work outdoors in varying weather conditions (heat, cold, rain, dust)
- Ability to safely navigate uneven agricultural terrain
- Experience operating hand power tools and field equipment
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong customer‑service mindset and attention to detail
- Full‑time availability to meet operational and seasonal demands
Preferred Qualifications
- Hands‑on agricultural or farming experience
