Electrician Details:
- Temp-to-Hire position
- $ 32.00 to $ 36.00 / hour
- Full Time work available
- Weekend work required
- First Shift (Friday through Monday from 06:00am to 04:00pm)
Essential Functions and Basic Duties:
Follow all OSHA, NFPA 70E, National Electrical Code (NEC), Lockout/Tagout (LOTO), and company safety requirements.
Electrical Maintenance & Troubleshooting:
Troubleshoot and repair electrical, electronic, pneumatic, hydraulic, and automated production equipment.
Diagnose equipment failures using electrical testing devices, schematics, and software diagnostics.
Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, motors, motor controls, VFDs, PLCs, sensors, relays, transformers, and lighting systems.
Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, ladder logic, and technical manuals.
Automation & Controls:
Troubleshoot PLC-controlled equipment and industrial automation systems.
QualificationsEducation/Certification:
HS diploma or GED required Technical degree, apprenticeship, or vocational training in Electrical Technology, Industrial Maintenance or related field required
Required experience:
- Minimum 3-5 years of industrial electrical maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment preferred
- Experience troubleshooting electrical systems in high-speed manufacturing equipment
- Experience with PLCs, VFDs, motor controls, and industrial automation systems
- Journeyman Electrician License or equivalent certification preferred
- NFPA 70# Certification
- Arc Flash Training
- OSHA 10 or OSHA 30
- Experience using CMMS software
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
- Strong understanding of industrial electrical systems and control circuits.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and blueprints.
- Knowledge of NEC, OSHA regulations, and electrical safety standards.
- Proficiency with multimeters, megohmmeters, amp clamps, and other electrical diagnostic equipment.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
