Ready for your next FIFO opportunity from Perth? We’re seeking experienced Excavator Operators to join a well-established mining contractor at the King of the Hill Mine Project in Western Australia.

Myndshift Group have been engaged by our client partner, a leading mining contractor delivering safe and efficient operations at the King of the Hill Mine Project. We are currently seeking experienced Excavator Operators to join the site on a casual basis. Located approximately 230km north of Kalgoorlie near Leonora, King of the Hill is a significant gold mining operation in WA’s Eastern Goldfields.
Aboutthe Role
This is a great opportunity for an experienced Excavator Operator to work across large production excavators on site. You’ll work a 2/1 roster rotating across day and night shift, with FIFO from Perth and camp and meals provided.
Equipment across site includes:- Excavator:
Hitachi EX2600 - Excavator:
Hitachi EX3600
- Operate large production excavators safely and efficiently across site
- Complete daily pre-start checks and report any hazards or defects promptly
- Follow site plans, instructions and traffic management requirements
- Maintain a tidy work area and support safe, respectful interactions across all teams
- Contribute positively to a people-first site culture
- Support and share knowledge with teammates to help build a strong crew
- $82.74 – $88.85 per hour (based on experience)
- Available for an Immediate Start
- Casual engagement
- 2/1 roster, rotating day and night shift
- FIFO ex Perth
- Camp and meals provided
- Proven experience operating large production excavators
- A safety-first mindset and strong personal accountability on site
- A positive, team-oriented attitude that fits well within an established crew
- Australian Work Rights and Driver’s Licence
- Current Pre-employment Medical & National Police Clearance
- Ability to pass a Drug and Alcohol Screen
- Relevant RII competencies & training transcripts
