We are in need of a skilled Heavy Equipment Operator to join our team in Washington As a Heavy Equipment Operator you will be responsible for operating and maintaining various types of heavy machinery including bulldozers excavators and loaders Your role will involve working on construction sites and performing tasks such as moving materials grading land and digging trenches
Key Responsibilities- Operate heavy equipment in a safe and efficient manner
- Perform routine maintenance on machinery to ensure proper functioning
- Read and interpret blueprints and plans to determine work requirements
- Follow all safety procedures and regulations on job sites
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors
- Maintain accurate records of work performed
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 2 years experience as a Heavy Equipment Operator
- Valid drivers license with clean driving record
- Knowledge of construction site safety protocols
- Ability to read blueprints and plans
- Physically fit and able to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Strong attention to detail
- Certification from a trade or technical school in heavy equipment operation
- Experience operating multiple types of heavy machinery
- Bilingual in English and French
