  • Work with school administrators, staff, teachers, full-service community partners, and ESD 105 guidance to build on existing strategies and leverage new opportunities to address students' and their families' academic, behavioral, social, emotional, and resource needs.
  • Provide whole-school supports available to all students, aligned with identified school goals.
  • Maintain consistent communication with building and ESD 105 leadership regarding activities and progress towards goals.
  • Build and maintain local formal and informal community partnerships to facilitate access to needed resources to meet the needs of students and families.
  • Collect data on school-wide and targeted strategies through a systematic data collection process with adherence to deadlines and grant requirements.

Knowledge of:

  • Knowledge of whole-school support frameworks such as MTSS, PBIS, and SEL, and how to align academic, behavioral, social-emotional, and resource supports to building and district goals.
  • Knowledge of student success indicators, including attendance, behavior, engagement, and academic progress, as well as barriers impacting underserved students and families.
  • Knowledge of community school models, partnership development practices, and systems of local resources that support students and families.
  • Knowledge of culturally responsive practices, equity-centered student supports, and trauma-informed approaches in school settings.
  • Knowledge of grant-funded program expectations, data collection, documentation, and compliance requirements related to Full Service Community Schools initiatives.

Skill in:

  • Strong collaboration and relationship-building skills to work effectively with administrators, educators, school teams, community partners, and ESD 105 leadership.
  • Skill in coordinating services, referrals, and interventions that address student and family academic, behavioral, social-emotional, and basic needs.
  • Effective communication skills, including the ability to provide clear updates, facilitate partnerships, and support family engagement.
  • Skill in collecting, tracking, and reporting data using established systems while meeting grant timelines and accountability requirements.

Ability To:

  • Ability to build trust and maintain supportive relationships with diverse students, families, staff, and community partners.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team while maintaining professionalism, confidentiality, and ethical standards.
  • Ability to implement school-wide supports available to all students while also responding to targeted needs as identified through school goals and data.
  • Ability to adapt to changing school environments, student needs, and grant priorities while maintaining consistent progress toward outcomes.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism while working with students, families, and school teams.

Work Environment:

  • Work is performed primarily onsite in school-based settings, including classrooms, offices, meeting spaces, and other student- centered areas. The position involves frequent movement throughout campus while interacting directly with students, families, and school staff to coordinate supports and services. A portion of the work includes computer-based case management, documentation, and data tracking responsibilities. The role may require local travel for home visits and meetings using a personal vehicle, as well as participation in occasional evening or weekend school or community events.

    Work may involve responding to sensitive or crisis-related situations and requires professionalism, discretion, and the ability to provide calm, supportive assistance in a dynamic environment.

Physical Demands
The usual and customary methods of performing the job’s functions require the following conditions:

Significant (66%+ of the time):

  • Sitting, standing, and walking throughout the school day while providing student supports, attending meetings, and coordinating services.
  • Frequent verbal communication with students, families, staff, and partners in person, by phone, and through virtual platforms.
  • Visual and auditory attention to monitor student needs, maintain safety, and respond appropriately in active school environments.

Frequent (33-66% of the time):

  • Use of computers and repetitive hand motions for documentation, data entry, communication, and reporting.
  • Movement between classrooms, offices, and meeting spaces within the school building.
