City of Yakima seeks a temporary Transit Bus Operator to safely transport passengers on city routes and adhere to schedules. This temporary role is not covered by collective bargaining benefits and is limited to 866 work hours per year.
Under general supervision, duties include pre-trip inspections, fare collection, rider assistance, and safety enforcement. Must obtain CDL, pass DOT testing, and complete required trainings. Flexible shifts, including nights or weekends, may be required.
