Each location is a Profit Center (PC) that operates as a small business under a unique trade name. The PC includes a warehouse, counter, sales office, and sometimes a showroom.
Inland Pipe and Supply, one of those trade names, is looking for a Warehouse Teammate at its Yakima, WA location.
Pay is between $18 and $20 per hour.

You will:- Be responsible for counting, verifying, and receiving incoming vendor shipments and customer return material.
- Stock and maintain the warehouse; pick, document, and pack customer orders in accordance with company policy and procedure.
- Act with a high attention to detail to ensure the highest levels of customer satisfaction.
- Handle all shipping discrepancies per procedures or forward appropriate paperwork to the designated employee.
- Identify nonstock, special‑order material, and damaged material and store it in proper warehouse locations.
- Complete necessary documentation for customer shipments delivered via third‑party carrier.
- Load and unload trucks, operate a warehouse forklift and other material‑handling equipment safely.
- Inform the immediate supervisor of stock depletions, count discrepancies, or damaged/defective/non‑saleable merchandise that could impact customer service levels.
- Ensure security and controls are in place and upheld to protect PC assets.
- Maintain warehouse cleanliness, order, and safety. Remove empty cartons, metal bands, pallets, and other debris and inform the supervisor of safety issues.
- Assist co‑workers in servicing customers.
- Perform all job functions in accordance with the company’s Safety Standards.
- Successfully complete required safety and compliance training programs as assigned.
- Perform other reasonably related duties as assigned by the immediate supervisor and other management.
- 1 year of warehouse receiving and material‑handling experience.
- Possess a proper and valid driver’s license.
- Knowledge of products sold at the PC.
- Have outstanding customer service and communication skills.
- Be able to quickly develop comprehensive knowledge of products sold at the PC.
- Have a high level of attention to detail and accuracy.
- Build and maintain a positive working relationship with customers, vendors, and co‑workers.
- Know and apply safety precautions in a warehouse and material‑handling environment.
- Learn to safely operate a forklift and other material‑handling equipment used at the PC.
- Learn and operate the computer‑related systems used for warehouse operations.
- Read, write, speak, and understand English.
- Add, subtract, multiply, and divide using whole numbers, fractions, and decimals.
