Senior Design Engineer – Magnetics

Yankton, South Dakota (on‑site)

• Work directly with customers to complete magnetics design for target applications, applying knowledge of materials, equipment, and production processes to deliver reliable, high‑performance products.
• Perform complex engineering work independently, ensuring quality and compliance in challenging circumstances.
• Lead technicians or production personnel in building samples, qualification builds, and evaluating materials and processes for new product design.
• Maintain awareness of competitive alternatives and share relevant information with stakeholders.
• Travel to customer sites, other manufacturing locations, material and equipment suppliers as required.

• 10+ years of progressive experience in magnetics or switch‑mode power supply design.
• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering.
• U.S. Person status (U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee) due to ITAR restrictions.
