Tube Machine Operator (Direct Hire)

Looking for a hands-on manufacturing career with a global leader? Wabtec is seeking a Tube Machine Operator to join our 3rd Shift production team. This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy working with machinery, precision measurements, and quality-focused manufacturing. We welcome candidates with varying levels of experience who are eager to learn and grow.

• High school diploma or GED required
• Minimum 1 year of related work experience

• Manufacturing or machine operation experience preferred
• Basic computer skills required
• Ability to use calipers, tape measures, micrometers, and other measuring tools
• Mechanical aptitude and understanding of machine components

• Set up and operate tube manufacturing equipment
• Produce and assemble finished tube components
• Inspect parts to ensure quality standards are met
• Perform light machine maintenance and troubleshooting
• Follow work instructions, specifications, and safety procedures
• Operate RTTS and aluminum tube machines
• Assist with training team members as needed
• Support other production departments when qualified
• Maintain accurate production records
• Travel domestically or internationally when required for projects
• Perform additional duties as assigned

• Lift up to 50 pounds
• Stand for extended periods on concrete floors
• Work in warm manufacturing environments, especially during summer months
• Handle paints, oils, solvents, and industrial materials safely
• Wear required personal protective equipment (PPE)
• Maintain manual dexterity and physical stamina necessary for production work
