• Hourly rate $22/hr. $500 Sign-on bonus +$1/hour for night shift differential
• Eligible for monthly profit sharing. (With profit sharing, earnings can increase by ~$1.50–$3.00/hour.)
• Shift available and hours 7pm-7am, 4x4 schedule 6pm-6am, 4x4 schedule

What you will be doing:

• Help pit crew start and end drops.
• Operate mobile equipment (forklift, skid loader, sweeper, overhead crane) to move logs.
• Use mechanical or air bander to band logs into bundles and accurately mark (heat number, alloy, length, and weight).
• Operate and move homogenizers.
• Fill out homogenizer charts correctly.
• Help pit crew with unplugging and plugging of furnaces.
• Learn to operate log saw and help furnace operators when needed.
• Properly fill out paperwork for recording of logs and inspection reports.

• Must be at least 18 years or older. (required)
• Self-motivated and willing to learn.
• Ability to work based on criteria under work environment.
• Must have ability to communicate (both written & verbal) and work well with all employees.
