Mobridge Regional Hospital & Clinic s is looking for a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our Specialty Clinic team. This position provides an opportunity to work alongside multiple specialty providers while delivering compassionate, high-quality care to a diverse patient population.
What You’ll Do:- Provide professional and compassionate nursing care to specialty clinic patients.
- Assess patients, obtain and document clinical information, and use appropriate triage and critical-thinking skills.
- Assist providers with examinations, procedures, treatments, and diagnostic testing.
- Administer medications and immunizations and provide pre- and post-procedure care.
- Educate patients and families regarding medications, treatments, procedures, and follow-up care.
- Coordinate referrals, testing, medical records, appointments, and other patient care needs.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, providers, and healthcare team members.
- Assist with telehealth visits and specialty services as applicable.
- Respond appropriately to urgent and emergent patient needs.
- Maintain a safe, organized, and well-equipped clinical environment while following infection prevention and safety standards.
- Participate in department education, quality improvement, and other organizational initiatives.
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in South Dakota.
- Current BLS/CPR certification or ability to obtain certification through Mobridge Regional Hospital & Clinics.
- Strong communication, organization, critical-thinking, and patient-care skills.
- Ability to work effectively with multiple providers and as part of a team.
- One year of clinic or hospital nursing experience preferred.
- Specialty clinic or outpatient nursing experience preferred.
